I have been battling bad facial acne since early middle school and am now 25. I tried everything from clearasil face scrubbing pads to Proactive to diet changes to oral medications. I would always get really deep and painful zits and it seemed as soon as I would start to clear up I would feel the beginning stages of a new zit. After many over the counter attempts including Proactive and one or two medications prescribed by my derm I finally have a solution. Sulfameth/Trimethoprim 800 has been the magic bullet for me. I now only wash my face once a day while in the shower with Head and Shoulders and do not follow any special diet. By the way, I pretty much used Head and Shoulders my whole life and when I switched to a different shampoo/conditioner my acne got even worse. I then realized that Head and Shoulders helps fight acne and switched back. I RARELY even get small zits on my face anymore.
I did not belong to this website prior to this post. The reason I joined to post this one message is because I was once suffering from acne, as I assume a lot of you are, and wished someone with success would give me advice. What worked for me may not work for you but at least work up to it and give it a shot if nothing else does. I honestly can say that my life has drastically improved since I became acne free. I am no longer afraid to take pictures or face friends/strangers when I go out. I hope the best for all of you.

I didn't ever try Sulfameth/Trimethoprim 800 to treat my acne which was also quite bad. I did use proactiv and when I found it ineffective, I switched over to Zenmed's Derma Cleanse acne treatment system after reading good reviews of this product on acne.org. Believe me its effectiveness in curing was amazing.

hey i found a great thing that helped me get rid of my acne, i had acne from age 13- 20 but finally now i am free of it. i was skeptical at first but this site really changed my life. i know this will help.

i could look at my problem from inside out and find out the true cause of acne, so it helped me a lot in getting cleaner face. i wish u the same!
