I have recently found a website that provides free content about acne. It ranges from how to treat acne to product recommendations. I have also noticed that the site appears to consistantly add new content every week. The link ishttp://www.aknetreament.com

Here's a method that has proven itself for us in my family. I sware I'm not selling anything.

MODERATION IS KEY. Diets always get you off the track. Life and nutrition is too complicated for us too think we know. If you eat mostly nutritious foods that you like and your stomach likes. Some of everything you will be okay. Please read on --

We just learned something in our house. Jeff, my son has had to watch his diet so he doesn't have pimples. He has modeled before with perfect skin.

He used to eat chicken nuggets at Carl Jr once a day for years. This gave him usually about 2 small pimples on his chin. He has always eatin a toast salad everyday which is very good for the skin. Jeff got the idea to about a year ago to eat unbreaded baked chicken at home. Less greasy should make the remaining zits go away. Well, it worked, but I was concerned about the low fat diet. No potato chips, never any chocolate, never ice cream.

About six months down the line we bought some fresh store baked bread. Jeff got some very red pimples that have left red places on his cheeks. We looked at what had changed. It was the bread. It was oil. Had extra shortening.

We started buying the regular Iron Kids that we used to buy and his pimples left, but they took a long time to leave. They took a long time because Jeff had become deficient in his diet. See, without some fats in the diet we can't absorb very much calcium or protein amd many other nutrients. Calcium relaxes the mine and body. Even the excited skin which is what Acne is. Jeff had lost some weight, look thinner in the face and pale. This is why diets aren't good. Moderation is the key.

Too much calcium from a pill can make us depressed that's why it's better to have mom to buy canned greens like spinach flavored with salt so you will like it. The green leafy vegetables have calcium and many other minerals and vitamins that make you healthy. You won't get them from boxed food like cereals.

Here's what happened in our house in detail. This is something to learn from. If you have a couple of small harmless pimples that's no big deal. You never want to become deficient. What follows might be a lot to read.

MODERATION IS KEY! All things are good in moderation. Without enough fat in the diet we can't utilize food well. Especially calcium and protein. Calcium makes us relax and this does a lot to relax excited skin and lessen the over production of oil glands. Acne sufferers have excited skin.

It's easy to over it with fat in the diet because milk and dairy are so available. Milk is something to limit in your diet. Many people don't drink milk or consume dairy. Easy to get too much fat from chocolate also.

Jeff at 19 after eating too lean went back to eating some potato chips and started looking better. He needed the fat. The large red pimples stopped and other smaller much less red pimples that came disappeared in a few days without a trace. More fat and calcium made the difference. You can't use calcium without having fat in the diet. He takes an occasional Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc tablet. Jeff should but doesn't eat much quantity of cooked vegetables. People can digest more a quantity of cooked vegetables than raw. Raw toast salads are good. Toast salad consist of vegetables high in water content, that's why they are best raw because they are the vegetables that digest easy in raw form. For example, lettuce wouldn't taste good cooked. You wouldn't and couldn't eat much raw Spinach without it being hard on your stomach. Nor can you eat a large bowl of Turnip Greens, Mustard Greens, Collard Greens, or asparagus. These very nutritious vegetables need to be cooked. There is nothing wrong with that. Cooking doesn't destroy minerals. Cooking destroys some vitamins but if you can eat more of cooked vegetable, then it makes up for the vitamin loss with quantity. Always satisfy the stomach and taste buds. Look how good a sweet potato tastes with a little butter. All vegetables are not bitter. All things are good for you in moderation.

Calcium with the fat in potato chips worked for Jeff. Well fed skin can tolerate fat in diet and handle infections. Fat is a healthy part of diet. Fat is part of food.
We must have fat in our skin. That's why we have oil glands (Sebaceous glands)
Eating a diet void of fats will make anyone deficient, frail, and pale. You will become unable to handle fat in the diet. It will become easy to get pimples. Fat is in food. You can't and shouldn't get away from it.

A person low in fat can not tolerate the sun or the cold without the skin becoming wrinkled like a prune. Low fat diets lower our natural hormones. Dieting isn't a good thing. Just don't binge on the greasy foods. I admit, moderation is a hard thing to learn. The human mind doesn't naturally thing that way. It thinks in extremes. Look what happened to Karen Carpenter, and the more recent anerexic Melissa DeHart. Stan

Too low a fat diet is not good and we know too high a fat diet isn't good. Fats sooth the stomach lining and help it digest food. Teens that are under nurished have the worst time with Acne. Stan
