So, I understand Renova is a milder form of retin-A. It hase the same side effects such as redness and itching? -
It is mostly up to you, better say up to your skin. Retin A Micro is also advertised as milder then retin cream and I've had a terrible reaction. it is true, for me renova was ok. but don't expect your pimples just to wanish stay with the treatment and wait X-D

I expect Renova to be similar with retin-A microGel, at least from what I've read on the Internet. I don't know, I've never used tretinoin-base cream for my acute acne. I have to stay with "real" medication, such as Erythromicin and Accutane. By the way, retin-a is good to reduce wrinkles (I was interested in buying an anti-wrinkle cream and then I've seen tretinoin as the main ingredient and now I am thinking retin-a or renova can help with my acne and mt lines... nice)

Don't use Renova or Retin-A (or any tretinoin) if you have any of tthe following:
:: excessive sensitivity to the sun
:: sunburn
:: eczema -
People tell me RENOVA is a serious medication.
Is it true? -
Well every medication is serious and must be used carefully specially if you have a hypoallergic skin or are prone to sensitivity. The severness of the reactions usually depends on the sensitivity of each individual.
-
You are on a forum and must respect the rules and regulations.Secondly acne does not occur naturally without any reason. There is always some hormonal imbalance in the blood that causes it.
-
Davis. Renova , if oesnt has any harsh side effects also is useless if you dont apply it as prescribed. Missed and skipped doses yield no result.
Thus every medication has to be taken seriously -
I experience sensitivity to sun.. My skin gets red and itchy.. Does this mean I cant use renova?
-
Well Renova and retin A are two different medications.. There effects may be more or else the same but side effects are different on different people/.
-
once again: can I use Retin-A instead of Renova? It seems it is stronger, I need something tgo really fight my acne....
