I have been using proactiv but it doesn;t help me at all.
i received retina micro from a friend and bought bruunhause acne gel at the same time. should i use both products at once? retina at night and bruunhasue in the morning? let me know.. -
NO...Don't even try to use them together. Retin-A is very strong as it is and your skin is going to peel a lot and some irritation may occur. If you combine the two products your skin will burn so bad that you'll go crazy and you are going to make more damage than any good to your skin.
Have patience and use first Retin-A till you finish it and if you have good results stick with it. If not try Bruunhause. Before I say good bye, can you tell me for how long did you use Proactiv? It helped me a lot, that is why I am asking. Good luck with your treatment.

4 months, i used it before too, i think my face is too used to it. so it is not helping anymore.
thanks for your advise
it said i can only use retina micro at bed time so what about the morning? what should i do? -
Don't use anything in the morning, just wash your face with a tea tree oil face wash and use a oil-free moisturizer. You'll see the effects of Retin-A all day long, so don't worry. Make sure you don't apply RetinA on your lips...dries them up very badly. You should apply some moisturizer after RetinA is dry, but wait half an hour before applying the moisturizer.
I used Proactiv for 2 years and it was doing its job...but maybe doesn't work for everybody.
The thing is to don't despair...wright now I use just an tea tree oil face wash and a weird combination of moisturizers. I combined in a jar some Vaseline(100% lanolin), cocoa butter body cream, some Aloe Vera cream and some left over stretch marks cream for my body and one day I decided to use it on my face too...and it's very good.
If you have back acne try shower gel from Avon, Sensses...it works for me...like magic.
I hope I was helpful...if you have any other questions...don't hesitate to ask, I think I tried almost everything and if not, I read about it...so ask away...I'll help you if I can. Good luck!!! -
THANKS

You are very welcome, I hope my advise it's helpful. Good luck and remember, the less acne products you use the better it is...
Usually the skin fights back to harsh chemicals, getting irritated like we all do when we don't like something or somebody...and don't over wash it. Twice a day is plenty...
Sometimes in the morning you can use just a wet tissue to remove the excess oil...
Have a great day...
