X-D agreed.
They wont be doing anything without money involved in it.. Thats a part of their job.
Secondly it has different reaction on different people. Its always better to test treat for a few days before starting the entire treatment. -
I 've used proactive also- and It didn't work for me- and as soon as I stopped using the product , I got them all back and more - so I went to a dermatologist - she prescribed me antiobiotics - It did clear some of them, actualy alot of them - I 've changed my diet- and began to take vitamins

Well, for me Proactiv worked to clear my skin. There are few things that bordered me at this product such as bleaches everything you touch and dries out your skin pretty obvious.

Ok first of all, I think Proactiv is good short-term. I started using it in 2006 and had fabulous results so I kept using it throughout 2007. Then at the beginning of 2008, my pimples started coming back and it was no longer effective. So I stopped using it and had massive breakouts. Now I have severe acne all over my face.
I have no idea if Proactiv had anything to do with my break out but for sure, it doesn't cure your acne in the long run.

Zero. Proactiv turned my mild acne severe.
Bummmmmmer. -
I received my thirty-day trial kit last Thursday, and have seen marked improvement in the tone and softness of my skin. I've only been using it for less than a week, so I'm still in the stage where the pimples get worse before getting better, but I can definitely tell that the skin is beginning to become acclimatized and conditioned very well to Proactiv because of how much softer it feels, and looks.
Although, I must add that the product makes my face oily. Different people's skin responds differently to products, and for many people Proactiv makes their skin dry, but it makes my skin oily. When I wake up in the morning with it on, before washing my face, my face feels heavy and greasy. And the same applies to the evening...oily, greasy face feeling before washing it off and reapplying.
I don't know why so many people quit using the product so early -- the packet clearly reads that major results will take between 4 and 8 weeks, and full results by three months, so it's important to stay on the product and understand that, as with ANY legitimate and effective acne treatment, the acne will get temporarily worse before getting remarkably better. The reason it gets worse before getting better is because the skin is conditioning to the product, and the medicine is purging the waste deep in the pores for the first time...like the saying goes, "the first cut is the deepest". Anything is bad the first time you go into it because it's new, but it takes time to condition to it and you reap the rewards for patience and commitment. It's just a short-term discomfort for a long-term benefit.

Also, I want to add that if you only rely on chemicals to treat your acne, you will never get to the root cause, and will be dependent on the chemicals. The way to treat the root cause of acne is a healthy, natural diet, not consisting of many fats and sugars obviously, fresh foods, controlling your hormones by working out regularly and producing endorphines to balance your emotional state that can be caused by other hormones, getting fresh air in a cleaner atmosphere (studies show people who live in highly polluted and smoggy areas have highest likelihood of developing acne.
Remember that the skin is porous! If your air, fluids, and foods are toxic/chemical, it will show through your skin! Using products like Proactiv are only a temporary way to treat the acne WHILE you're in the process of also treating it at the root cause, so that when you stop using the product, your skin will be *maintained* as healthy, soft, and clear by the lifestyle changes you've attained. It's the same as when you control your weight -- you maintain a better lifestyle and put better nutrients inside your body, and it reflects on the outside...and you have to keep it up.
