    Proactiv System: Pros and Cons

    I'll start this new topic with what I like on Proactiv:
    What I mostly like about it is that it doesn't leave dried out. I don't expect to have the complexion of somebody without acne, but at least my lips don't crack anymore. I like it and I'll keep using it!
    I'll give it 3.5 stars out of 5.

    Good idea, dear anonymous. Let's rate this product from 0 (worst rate) to 5 (best case). In my case (I have had using Proactive 2-3 months ago) I would rate it 4/out of 5 (for mild acne only)

    I am on Proactiv, an my Proactiv testimonial (or review, I don't make a difference since I'm not an nativ English) is:
    1. I would rate Proactiv Renewing Cleanser with 4. It is good, is healing damaged skin, I like to use it.
    2. Proactiv Revitalizing Toner - 2. I don't know why, I don't really like it. I feel it on my skin like an alcohol solution, even if it is labeled alcohol-free.
    3. Proactiv Repairing Lotion - let's say 3.5 taking into account my results till now (I've started 3 weeks ago)

    I don't have Proactive Daily Oil Control but I like the Oil-Free Moisture with SPF (eve if it isn't the best season for testing moisture with SPF, I'll give it a 5)

    Let's conclude: my average score for Proactive is 3.62 out of 5 for 4 products used during the last 3-4 weeks

    Personally I don't think Proactiv works. There are to many celebrities advertising for it,I'll bet it's just a garbage. Does anybody seen a picture with Vanesa Williams or Elle Macphearson having pimples?

    I've got no results with Proactiv, probably the lotion made my skin
    lighter

    At first I thought this is it: Proactiv's going to clear up my skin. After 3-4 months my skin looked very bad, it was dry and seemed like I've got ten years older. a BIG NOT for Proactiv

    I'm using it right now, and I don't think it's working. If anything, my skin looked worse right now then when I started. The only problem was a few pimples on my forehead, but now I have these tiny ones on my face too.

    Yeah, it sounded too good to be true. I don't think it's really working at all because everything is still there...

    When did you start using it? maibe is that phase when your acne goes wrong and then better :-?

    What Enyks says mai be true, even if I've never used Proactiv so I don't know much about it.
    So, from what I know Retin-A treatment has a 3-stages development. Firstly the skin becomes worst and then better and better.
    Anyway, I'm just looking to decide if I shall start a Proactiv treatment or not

    is it true that all those movie stars used proactiv or is that just a lie?

    Movie stars do a lot for their sking that just proactiv. Thats why their skin look gr8 on the sets. But a commorno cannot afford all that expenses.
