i've had acne since i was 12, it was really bad one my forehead, cheeks, chin, nose and on my shoulders i went to the doctors who told me it was acne, and coz i was young told me it should go away when i start going in to adulthood, im 21 now and still have it, there not the spots i get don't turn into pus spots there just angry red ones, and i have some scars where i used to pick at them, they get worse at obvious times like around my period, and also when i get stressed, sometimes they get better and seem to almost go, then the reapear all red and angry, i've tryed topical lotion and cream and tablets and i am on the pill at the moment, nothing seems to work i've also tryed spot creams and washes from boots, superdrug etc, its really getting me down at this age i can't understand why they wont go away, anyone any suggestions that i could try,i only have them on my cheeks and shoulders now.

That is acne vulgaris and is not so easy to get rid of it. Has nothing to do with your age. Even if the acne from the face goes away the one from your shoulders is still going to be there. The Pill should help you. For your acne from your shoulders use instead of your regular shower gel, one that is specially designed for body acne. Neutrogena Clear Body Wash is working great. You can try Dove for sensitive skin also.
For your face use Benzoyl Peroxide. It works, but you have to use it for a while. Make sure you use moisturizers and make-up for oily skin.

I suffered from acne, since the age of 11. My problem was a consequence to my monthly cycle and the breakouts occur the week before starting my cycle. The increased level of sebum secretion was related to hormonal changes during the cycle, perhaps a rise in testosterone at midcycle. In my specific condition only a endocrinologist with special expertise in female hormone problems is been successful with Diane-35, a drug used to treat severe acne.
I suggest you to verify if you have a hormonal problem with an endocrinologist;not ignore your acne scars: visit this site for informations about acne and acne scars:href="http://www.acne-removal-scar.net/index.html">Click Here

this is not related to age the same problem i am suffered from the age of 19 i gone to a doctor he treat me for 5 month still the signs are left after that. My friends advice me to use turmeric, Western scientists have increasingly recognised the medicinal properties of turmeric and so many new products are also introducing with this.I advice you to try it once bcoz i reduce my signs.
