What people do not relise that dermatologist and doctors can't actually cure acne permanently, why? Because there is no permanent cure that you can get over the counter or indeed by perscription. Dear Benteck and all those who are suffering from acne, I want to tell you my experience. I had the most severe cystic acne which covered my face in huge boils and spread when i tried to put creams on. it was such a severe type of acne that the boils fused together under the skin. everytime someone saw me, they would gasp in horror and tell me to see a doctor. the doctors took one look at me and told me not to waste my time with anything else and to take accutane straight away. accutane if you happen to not know, is a very dangerous drug, i think the FDA website will tell you about the dangerous side effects. i didn't take the drug because I had faith that God had an answer for me. and He did. it all started with this book called "health and wholeness through the holy communion" by Joseph prince. you can get it here:http://www.destined2reign.com/onlinestore/p-344-health-and-wholeness-through-the-holy-communion-softback.aspx

This is a home remedy and won't cause any side effects so you can try this safely and in case it dries your skin you can apply a little honey after you wash your face and leave for another 10 minutes and wash. Mix a little baking soda with water and apply gently to your acne/pimples, let it dry for 30 minutes. Then rinse face with cold water, try it daily for a week and see if it helps clear your acne.

I use Retin-A (tretinoin) its really good for getting rid of really bad acne, I used to be extremely depressed until I read on one of these forums about the different types of creams or gels even if a product doesn't work in a cream try it in a gel as it may react completly differently.

Hey man, the only thing that worked for me was a wash called "Kill-A-Zit". I bought it on eBay. I had tried everything else, but I DID NOT want to go the Accutane route... if you know what I mean.
It was basically a last ditch effort and it worked (thank goodness).
