My daughter has noticed a bit improvement in her acne since she has become more aware of how much water she should be drinking? She used to drink very little water. We tried lots of different over the counter treatments with only temporary results.
The biggest improvement by far has been since she started making sure that she drinks at least 8 glasses of filtered water. There don't seem to be any studies about the affects of drinking water in acne prevention.
Have others noticed as big an improvement in their skin by drinking water?

It's a well known fact that drinking sufficient amount of water every day is very important to keep your facial skin clean.
There are many other simple solutions that may not heal acne completely but will ease the pain and stress from it. This article:http://www.heal-acne.info/articles/how-lemons-oranges-african-butter-and-water-cure-acne.html might help in finding those simple solutions.

This can happen when you’re not drinking enough water. You see, water is the main carrier of nutrients throughout your body and is quite possibly the single most important contributor to healing and preventing acne flare-ups. Drinking enough water will dissolve waste products in your system so it can be easily remove and flush out. Without enough water, there won’t be much to dissolve these product wastes and toxics...causing it to build up in your system and causing your body to expel these product wastes and toxics through your lungs and skin. And this can and will result in acne breakout.
