Has anyone tried Retin-A Micro? I could use some reviews about this gel, and I really want to know how effective it is, before buying it. thanks! -
I used this medication. At first, i thought this is another ordinary treatment. But i kept using it, and after 3 months the results started to appear. After another 1 month (the 4th moth), my skin was clear, and i had not a single pimple. i'm still using it, and it's all clear! :) I'm in the 6th mont of treatment now.

I have suffered from acne since my teens. I'm now 29 years old and i started using retin a micro 13 weeks ago. My face is still red, and it peels a lot. i use moisturizer to make my face look more oily. i can't wait any longer, i will consider another regime soon..

I have used this product fot 9 weeks and my skin is much better now. The first 2 weeks were fine. But from the third to the fifth week, it was horrible. My skin peeled weirdly and my face was red. It was an awful period! Then, the skin's appearance started improving. Now it's mush better, and i feel great! So don't get dissapointed at the beginning, you have to try for at least 7-9 weeks to see any good results. This is a great product!

I was prescribed Retin-a micro, triaz cleanser and dynacin pillss. This is a great trio! :) Worked great on me, and after only 2 weeks of treatment, i can see a new person in the mirror! The only bad part is that my skin is peeling and dry. but it still is the best treatment!

I was prescribed retin-a and topical erythromycin about a month ago. I have excessively oily skin. I'm still having some peeling and drying, but my skin is not as oily as it was, and I barely have some pimples. I'm happy with it, as it controls the oil, but I'm still waiting for more improvements.

In the first month of using retin-a, my skin was horrible, even worse that it has ever been. But after this stage, if you stick with this treatment, your acne should start to clear. I now have a smoother and clearer condition, and I'm almost out of pimples.

At the beginning, it made my acne worse. Then, they cleared up, but my skin turned red and peeled and burned a lot. I heard it will eventually stop, but didn't so i had to put an end to this treatment. it's not so good...

I'm a new member of this forum, so Hi to everybody!
SO, this is my Retin_a story:
After two weeks of Retin-A micro I were looked like I was burned. I forgot about acne and I had to deal with this more uncomfortable problem. I couldn't't even speak without feeling pain and burn on my face.
Then I stoped it, for 1 week. Then I started again, but using Retin-A only 2 times/week. After 3 more weeks I've started to 3 times/week and so on. I am on Retin_A from almost 1.5 years now, and, even if it is nt a miracle for me, this stuff works. Keep in mind: if it burns, take it easier! -
My doctor told me to be very careful with Retin-A micro, not because it doesn't work, but because it is not for everyone. I listened to him and I gave my face time to get used to it. I've been using it once every four days for almost three weeks and only after that I started using it more frequently, but also in a gradual manner. At the beginning I had powerful breakouts but I stayed calm, as this is normal when using Retin-A. Results didn't show up until the fourth week when pimples and blackheads had almost vanished and hesitated to reappear. I'm sure it turned out right for me because I was very attentive to it and I was very well informed not to give up easily. I'm in my twelfth month of Retin-A micro now and I'm doing great!

Hi Kina, hi everybody
I've been using REtin-A from the last 6 years, but not continuously (sorry my english, I'm Spanish). I had 3 full Retin-A treatments: firstly, for 4 months, then after 2 years once again for 4-5 months and then again, after other 1.5 years, for 3 monts. In the meantime, I always have a Retin tube in my hause. Sometime I just use it when I see a zit appearing, sometimes I use it to exfoliate my face. Anyway, the general efect is good, after each of the treatments the resuls were very good and ussualy lasting for more then 2 years. About redness and sensibility of the skin: I had all of those but I've tried to ignore them, and I've didn't gave up with my treatment.
Bottom line: if you have problems with acne, Retin-A is a MUST. -
yes, crl, I am still using RetinA, but not the gel. I am using the cream. And I have to admit it was not easy at the begining, but now, after 4 months i am happy I've did it. Now I am using Retin A only to maintain the effects, twice a week. No more acne (maybe on-two pimples during the last month), and really a better looking skin.
Do it, but be prepared for the first 3 weeks.
