I'm on Erythromicin and it works efficiently. Unfortunately, my boyfriend finds it disgusting on my face and it's hard to use it during the night with him sleeping over. I wish somebody thought of a more discreet way to use it. -
I am using it twice a day, mornings and evenings, and I must say it's given the best results I had so far. I used to have severe acne and now I can proudly say I have a mild form. I'm sticking to Erythromicin no matter what anybody says about it. For me, it works great!

With me, Erythromicin did great in the first three months. I thought I found my way out of acne, but just when I decided to start the treatment again, I got no more results. My dermatologist says I probably developed some kind of immunity to it and now it's useless to continue. Besides, I also had a nasty breakout for a week or so.

Beside this aesthetical reason, I choose not to be that patient with Erythromycin, because it made me feel really bad. Everything from nausea to indigestion and dizziness, headache and cramps; I experienced them all in just a couple of weeks. I gave it up! With or without acne, I'm not looking for more problems!

Maybe you should use another form of Erythromicin. Like if you've been using gel and felt your face dry or uncomfortable, you should try tablets, or the other way around. It's worked for very well, the only trouble I had was to decide on tablets which were more appropriated for my life-style.

I had acne until i reach 19,but i find a doctor that change my life. My face and my back were full of pimples and scars and i was desperate doctor prescribed my a treatment with antibiotics and i was very suspicious at first, but after 4 weeks of treatment i started to believe that acne is not a problem for me any more

Well as far as erythromicin is concerned You can apply it in mornings and evenings and wash off by the night.. I hope your boyfriend wont have any trouble then. -
it's named Ibuprofen but i don't know what dose i use to take. I have also a cream based on Ibuprofen. If you are really interested on this treatment i will ask my doctor OK?

I have a book on medication details with side effects, syptoms and dosage details. I'll search for ibprofen in it. But Lisa you also pls ask your doc.

I just mispelled the name.
My friend has borrowed that book of mine. I'll check it as soon as she returns. Actually my mom is a nurse so I have medical books etc at my place. I didnt meant to crticise. :-//
