I advise to all that select the right acne treatment products. Identify your skin type and choose products that suitable for your skin. And more over all this do not squeeze, pick or pop the acne lesion as it can spread the inflammatory process and can worsen the condition.

I have been on every pill and accutane only to have acne come back. I tend to get oily skin after a few hours. I'm a licensed esthetician so I've always wanted to help people with they're skin. Here's how I helped myself and others I care about.
CLEANSE: twice a day with Acne free (at most drug stores, not the severe formula)with 2.5% ben perioxide.
TONE: with 100% witch hazel (some have alcohol and you don't want alcohol on your skin), I put about 1/4 teaspoon of lactic acid (that I bought on amazon)in the witch hazel.MOISTURIZE: Proactiv repairing treatment 4 oz size (bought on amazon or ebay ).
Conclusion: after trying proactiv three part treatment I realized it was way too harsh for acne skin, but the 2.5% ben peroxide really does kill bacteria so I found acne free brand, but NOT all their products are good for the skin so I had to mix and match. I think a toner should have soothing qualities, but also lactic acid to help shed dead clogging skin. (you could also try glycolic acid on amazon)
OPTIONAL: once your skin clears up 75% I would suggest spending 80 bucks for a tube of retin A (tretinoin)made by OBAGI 0.1%
Always make sure you have a good eye cream (maybe with spf like Dermalogica called Total Eye Care.
