Ive suffered with acne now for the past 4 or so years now and i really think that stress has a major impact on how bad a persons acne severity can be. For example my first major acne breakout was my final secondary school exams and after thoes they went completly in time for my prom. Now my skin is in its best condition its ever been because i dnt stress out about it.

Have u ever noticed that all the people with clear skin are the ones that dont get stressed out.

To help anyone out who has got acne and feels very stressed out about it, heres some advise.

Dont get worried about it becasue that will lead to excessive washing and will make the acne look worse when the skin surrounding it is dry. Take a look at some pictures of famous people who have or had acne like Brad Pitt or Cameron Diaz.

Whatever the severity of ur acne it will pass eventually and when it does u will look back on those days and feel silly becasue there are far more important things in life to get stressed over, like an unpaid loan:P

yes, you're right here. at least is the case of the majority of the people I know (like one of my cousins, she has such a beautiful skin... but didn't had a job or never stressed to do something, her parents take care of her even now at 30's. and it is one of these evel bitch :) sorry for thinking so, but is the true.

back to your post, I knew stress is directly related with acne but never made any effort to get rid of stress (or better say - to go to a spa and forget about all the problems...). It might count alot. Thanks, I'll try

Stress can do a lot of things -- increase blood pressure, trigger migraines, induce depression, but can stress actually contribute to acne? While the medical community may debate about the effects of stress on acne, the facts might just surprise you

Stress affects your body and health in many ways, from minor to major. It impacts virtually every system in your body. Increased levels of stress stimulate the body's production of various hormones. These hormones trigger different changes in the skin, such as increased oil and sebum production. Excess oil and sebum can easily clog pores, leading to pimples or inflamed acne outbreaks and other skin conditions.
