Is it dirt that makes regular pores turn into blackheads?

The blackheads are caused by over active sebaceous glands. The excess secretion of oil expands and thickens the pores of the skin. The oil collects in the pores and hardens into a plug. The pores are then clogged with hardened sebum or oil. Since the pores are open, the tip of the clogged grease is exposed to the air and oxidises, turning black. Therefor, blackheads are formed.

I hope this is hopeful! :)

That's a myth! Actually, your pores are not black, they're just dark colored and that's not dirt, but dead skin, your own sebum and some kinds of dermal bacteria altogether. You get skin inflammation when your body tries to fight bacteria. That turns out as pimples.

You can treat your blackheads home but you have to be careful. after 15 min. of infusion with Camile tea your pores began to open and is more easy to get theme out. After you finish this you clean your face with a lotion that suites with your skin type. Good luck!

Well making an infusion is easy. Just boil a few leaves in water for a few minutes , strain and use the water. This is the way I do.. :)

If you use a product for pimples with salicylic acid every day you can get rid of blackheads. But you got to use it every day till you get rid of them and then at least every two days. Good luck.

Yes, dairy is the worst food for causing acne. If your stomach loves milk, well reduce your intake and eat vegetables regularly. You may still need milk once in a while. You should obey your stomach to a point, but if you are drinking lots of milk, well that's a big contributor to your acne. One or two glasses a day should be enough. Some people don't drink milk at all. Vegetables like spinach and brocolli will give you a lot of calcium. Calcium will give you better sleep. Enough good sleep can cure Acne along with a good diet. Tossed salads are good for the complexion. Remember, milk is full of grease and too much greasy will come out on the skin. Sugar will make the skin oily too. It causes more hormone production.

I had acne real bad when I was a teen. It left in two weeks when I joined the military.

I'm wrighting a book on Acne now. Raised two boys and managed to keep their acne under control.

Curing acne is just doing the basics. That's not easy when you are a teen living in America.

If you were growing up in a foreign country where there were no greasy comfort foods and processed foods you wouldn't be able to get Acne.

So learn to eat your vegetables. Eat fruit. Get your sleep. Losing sleep and consuming sugar and caffeine are very bad for your complexion.

In the military I hit the sak at 9:00 every night and was woke up at 5:00 every morning. My skin on my face and chest lost the excess oiliness in a week and a half.

In basic training we weren't allowed to go back for seconds and the desserts were not very big, just small portions, but we ate on time every day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

So, it was the getting to bed early, eating enought good food and very small amounts of desserts, and the low stress. Yes, the military had us for a while. Our life was on hold, so we had no real worries and there wasn't the tension over the opposite sex to exite the skin.

The vegetables in the diet have a great deal to do with relaxing the skin and slowing down oil production because of the calcium. Brocolli is on of the best foods for the skin, and spinach. You get all kinds of vitamins and calcium. Avacados are good too. You get monounsaturated fatty acids. Avacados are better than eating potato chips for you skin. They are high in vitamin A which is good for the skin.

Don't over eat, especially out of stress and worries. Just have fun and be happy. There is no time like the teenage years for being happy and going out on dates with someone you really like. Being happy has so much to do with the hormone balance and your complexion.

Have you ever noticed how teens in love glow. They don't breakout, they glow because they are complete and happy, so get that way. Your teenage years only come around once, so enjoy them. Stan
