sensitivty to dairy products must be very rare.. bcause I havnt heard much people complain about it..

It is better if fat free dairy products are used by those prone to acne

I haven't heard about this, but i guess is possible. I know that milk as long as it is natural provides a lot of vitamins and minerals, plus all the natural remedies that i know are based on milk.

    Hi everyone,

I have suffered from severe acne since the age of 12, I am now 26 and the last fews years I have been acne free, after years of treatments, Accutane twice, peels, creams, etc, and nothing ever worked. THEN I clued on to the cause and i have completely cured my VERY SEVERE acne, I am allergic to dairy products, some people dont believe me, but I guarantee you that this is the case! I dont have any dairy in my diet now, and every now and then I might have some chocolate or cheese and within hours i have new pimples appear! Its amazing, I also get bad cramps and dirarrea from dairy, and also have had a borderline canerous tumour develop on my ovary (which I have had removed) and I also believe this was caused by dairy too, because everytime I have dairy I get pains in my one healthy ovary that i have left, and in the past (when i get my ultrasound every 6mths follow up to tumour) i have had dairy and gone for scan and doc always says to me YOU HAVE POLYSYTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME, and after quitting dairy i have never had a doc say they can see cysts on my ovaries, i have spoken to doctors about this and they just laugh, oooh and i also get depression from dairy too, IT IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, just for an experiment stop dairy for a week and see your beautiful skin transformed, PLEASE try this and let me know through this forum, because I have CURED my acne for good.

You shouldn't eat dairy because, well, what is most dairy made out of these days? It's made from cow milk, cow milk contains a substance that's very clogging in our bodies called "casein." Look it up, it's the main ingredient in glue. If you do some more research, you'll also find that pasteurization destroys a lot of the nutrients in the milk so we're basically drinking nutritionless glue substance. I'm not saying that you should only drink unpasteurized milk because of possible bacteria infection, but if you have a strong GI tract with lots of probiotics then you should be able to handle that. But that's another topic.

I had acne for close to 10 years and was pretty much obsessed with clearing it. I tried all that ProActiv, dermatologist stuff, didn't work. If you think what I'm talking about makes sense. I'm currently building an information website about how I cleared my acne naturally without using any of those antibiotics, laser treatments, topicals, etc...

I noticed that my acne has to do with my stomach troubles. I have been working hard with my diet and my acne have gone down. Almost gone but curing your stomach takes time. If you use the toilet more then 3 times a day and often just after a meal your acne comes from stomach problems.

Solution: Eliminate products that your stomach might have a problem with, dairy is one but there are more. Check websites. You just have to try everything until you feel that you no longer have a problem. Guessing my stomach can't handle dairy, fry/roasted food, salt, onions, sugar and fat. I try even more stuff like cutting down on meat, eating regularly and not to much. Don't think you should eat to much oranges or food with to much acid because it can annoy your stomach. And remember dairy is very common in bread, all kinds of sauce, chocolate and lots of other things. Very hard to avoid if your not an expert.

    Hope it helps someone

    YES,

ACNE IS DEFINATELY CAUSED FROM EATING THE WRONG FOODS

JUST THINK OF POISON IVY. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO EAT IT TO BREAK OUT FROM IT. CERTAIN FOODS WE EAT CAN ALSO CAUSE US TO HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION AND BREAK OUT FROM THEM.

BLACK PEPPER, TABLE SALT, DAIRY, CHEESE, HYDROGENATED OIL, BROCOLLI, CAYENNE PEPPER, PEANUT BUTTER, GRISLE FATS, COOKED TOMATOES, KETCHUP, CERTAIN SPICES, AND WHEAT PRODUCTS WERE CAUSING MY ACNE.

ALSO ANY FOOD THAT YOU MIGHT NOT TOLERATE OR HAVE AN ALLERGY TO CAN CASE ACNE. ALSO LOTIONS WITH PETROLEUM JELLY IN THEM CAN CAUSE ACNE.

I READ THE BOOK "THE DIGESTIVE CHEMISTRY DIET" AND IT EXPLAINED THAT ACNE IS TOXINS BEING ELIMINATED THROUGH THE SKIN AND GETTING STUCK ON THE WAY OUT. I THEN STARTED EATING ONLY THE FOODS THAT IT RECCOMMENDED, KEPT A JOURNAL OF WHAT I ATE AND THE WAY IT MADE ME FEEL. I FINALLY STARTED SEEING WHICH FOODS WERE CAUSING ME TO BREAKOUT.

I AM 99% CLEAR AS LONG AS I STICK TO THE DIET, AND IF I GO OFF OF IT, I CAN USUALLY LOOK FORWARD TO A BUMP SOMEWHERE ON MY BODY.

I'm pretty sure that if acne is caused by eating the wrong foods it is because you are touching your face with the grease and such while your eating or you just don't wash your hands. As for the whole dairy products situation, its more likely that you are having some reaction to certain foods or food products or once again, you are getting the oils from the foods in your pores. Not washing your face. It's pretty simple stay clean, but do not over-wash or over-dry by scrubbing. Try not to irritate your skin when cleaning anyway.

Looking at the studies it's not meant to be because of an allergic reaction to milk (although it sounds like for some people on here it was), it's due to growth hormones in milk causing acne. Makes sense: puberty = hormones = acne

I'm on day 14 of no milk, I don't think there's any difference so far. I used to drink about 2 pints a day.

Could other people give it a go and let me know how it goes (good or bad) on this forum? thanks.
