A while ago I got this massive blackhead on the side of head that I squeezed several times and kept filling up. Finally it closed over WITH STUFF STILL IN IT. Now its about 3 millimeters deep in and I can't figure out how to get it out. It feels like a little ball under several layers of skin. Has anyone else experienced this?

yes, I know what you mean. You should gently steam the area and it will open up. The steam will cleanse the area. Following that, dab dry and cover in honey. The honey will act as an antiseptic and keep the pore clear. It worked for me.

How long is supposed to take before it opens up?

within an hour or so, as the pore opens. Then a gentle pressure and the plug will emerge. Then the honey.
