I am getting Cleocin T now.
It's a shame results are not constant! I felt great about it the first two months: less pimples, not to dried face; pretty nice, but then pimples reappeared and I just couldn't stop my skin from oiling so much. I don't know what's wrong, maybe it's just a short term solution. -
you are writing you are on Cleocin T now. What kind of Cleocin T? There are, as far as I know, 3 forms: CLEOCIN T Topical Lotion, CLEOCIN T Topical Gel and CLEOCIN T Pledgets; the active ingredient is clindamycin phosphate but different compounds are added: Cleocin solution contains isopropyl alcohol, the gel contains allantoin; if you say you have some results maybe you should change it to see if will work better. Good luck.

Cleocin T was a change for the better at the beginning. It lasted me a year and a half to try something else, but it happened when it simply stopped being efficient. It's like I developed some kind of an immunity or so. I'm sorry about it, because it really helped me in the past.

Yeah, it stops working becuase its an antibiotic and the bacteria becomes resistant. The same with oral antibiotics. Im taking Doxycycline right know, along with Clindamycin gel and retin-a. So far it has gotten worse. Lets see if it gets better.

Mira you should try the cream if you are using gel or lotion.
And yes antibiotics cease to work after a time as the body develops immunity to it :( -
Its better to stop using once the treatment prscribed is over. You can then restart it after a few days gap. This would prevent the bacteria from developing a resistance to it.

I think that this is the problem with most of the treatments.
After some months they became less efective.
I guess that the skin or our sistem gets used with them............. -
yap, everybody agrree- in time body get used with medication - any medication. Is generally, so skin get used with acne medication, too. But - do you have news? alternative treatment? something?...
