Can I use Retin-A while pregnant?

Somebody wrote me asking for more info about Retin-A and pregnancy.
From what I know (and as far as I remember, it is on Retin-A label, too), I know it is recommended not to use Retin-A during pregnancy and breast-feeding, even more, not to use Retin-A before getting pregnant (1-2 months), if possible. Anyway, this all this must be checked with the physician first.
From what I know all tretinoin-based products (in fact, all vitamin-A based acne and cosmetic products) must be avoided. Even liver is not indicated to be eat by pregnant women :) yes, sad but true
Looking for other opinions from you
