After suffering from moderate to severe acne from my late teens, I had almost given up on finding anything that would work to get my acne under control. I tried all the fads suggested on forums and have taken countless courses of antibiotics, which is something I do not want to do long term to avoid my immune system becoming more susceptible to catching MRSA and the likes. A friend told me that she had seen a product on a show called Embarrassing Bodies, where acne treatments had been discussed. Aknicare came in the top two and it is also endorsed by Professor Tony Chu at Hammersmith Hospital, London. It has worked so well for my skin. I was so sceptical at first, as I was advised when I ordered that results can be seen after approximately 2 week and I still hadn't started to see much improvement after 3 weeks, so I called up for advice. The lady I spoke to was incredibly helpful. I was only using the cleanser and the cream. I was advised to use the lotion after cleansing and before applying the cream. This has worked brilliantly! I am so pleased I persevered. I now use just the cleanser and the cream and I keep the lotion at hand for difficult days. The products work excellently. I have found that I do need to use the products together. I do find that they can be a little expensive but they are the only products that seem to work effectively for my skin. They do have quite good offers on at times, so be sure to look out for those. I would definitely recommend people give this product a try. :D Key Benefits: Controls acne breakouts and works to prevent reoccurrence. :( Key Drawbacks: Lotion can dry skin out when not used with the cream and can be a little expensive.
