it works for some people with a unclogged pores but for some people it wont work... due to clogged pores.. for your son it works coz the only problems is your son skin is oily and if your face is oil means your more prone on bacteria as well the benzoyl fights oil.. and no oil means no build up of bacteria means theres no buildup of acne.. also try to use some skin peel products at your son to reduce acne scars while on a benzoyl medication use a skin peel products before applying benzoyl..

I also use benzoyl peroxide to clear my acne. I came across a new product on Amazon when I was looking for something else for my acne and found Acnetame. I have been using it for a week and I already see a difference in my face. I continue to use benzoyl peroxide with it. There are no side effects either. Here is the link:
