I really feel sorry for you; your story brings back bad memories. I suffered from acne too, but not at your age, a little bit later, around age of 24. I had it so bad that I considered myself a monster. I had pimples all over my face and back too. I still have the ones from my back, but I have my face free of acne, which make me feel much better. I get only one or two around my period, which is nothing.
First of all go to a dermatologist doctor. A good one. If you already did, try products which contain benzoil peroxide. The thing is that you have to have patience and do the treatment every day for at least 2 months or so.
I used Proactiv, which for me worked very well. I could see the difference form the first month. And I used it for 2 years as my daily regimen.
You can try a treatment with tetracycline, which you have to do it for one month or so.
You first start with 3 pills a day for a week, then for two weeks take 2 pills a day and then for 3 weeks take 1 pill a day.
You can try also Diane 35 which is great and I am sure is going to help you, but you better ask a doctor about it, because I heard it has a lot of side effects and your breasts are going to suffer some modification, which are not healthy.
You can try also birth control pills, which Diane35 is actually, but because of its great results as a acne medication, is mainly used for acne treatment. But birth control pills and Accutane has a lot of side effects.
What else can I tell you to be helpful for you?
You should scrub gently your face with backing soda at night after you clean your face with your tea tree oil soap and follow with a light lotion specially for your skin. (oily)
Try to use cosmetics that are specially designed for oily skin and acne prone skin. It's very important. Avoid sun, which makes your skin produce more oil, which you don't need.
Try also Panoxy soap bar from the drug store. Every day for your daily routine. But make sure you don't combine these topical treatments, because your skin it's going to suffer more. Try one of these treatments, and if doesn't work after few months of using it, you can try another.
My first choice would be the doctor, and if his treatment doesn't work try Proactiv. Be careful Proactiv and all the products based on benzoyl peroxide bleaches. I use to have blonde eyebrows and I am a brunette. So, be careful, with your clothes, towels- use the white ones, bed sheets.
Good luck and I hope we keep in touch.
I want to know how you doing and if your skin gets better.

Don't pop your pimples, you are going to get scars, just like your father.

Hi there, Really sorry to hear about your acne problem.I knowe what it's like . I assume you have looked at your diet all that. Stay away from soaps they dry out the skin too much and some of them have a chemical reaction that make acne worse.
Doctors and Dermatoligist actually don't know a permanent cure for acne and work along with pharmeceutical companies who are not interested in fully curing acne because they will just give temporary cures in order that you come back and buy again. God forbid they find a permanent cure and loose their profits.
There is a guy that has a natural holistic way to cure acne permanently within 8 weeks. The difference here is that your cured from the INSIDE where the acne starts. It worked for me so It WILL work for you.
Take care get rid of that acne.

Acne is really one of the most serious problem of almost all people and I am also the sufferer. But now my acne are reduced than before after using Himani BOROPLUS Anti-acne cream. I got this name from one of my friend and it works quite good on my skin.

Hi Nicole,
you have had a lot of good advice above. Also, go and see your doctor who will refer you to a dermatologist - you will get good advice there. The dermatologist will listen, be sympathetic and will advise you of good options. All of the drugs, creams and lotions are listed on the websites for you to check out.
Remember this - everyone gets spots and acne - but your real beauty comes from within you.

Hi there! Sorry for the late reply, I just randomly crossed this website and I tought I should give you some advices although I hope your acne's gone better since!
First let me tell you that I TOTALLY understand. I started having acne at 11, although it was still mild but it grew totally out of control last year, when I was 14. Big disguting pimples all over my forehead, cheeks, nose, chins, temples. Thank God I never had any on my arms and back! But the face is what people see first isn't it?
Anyway I was so desperate about it. I had been taking ANTIBIOTICS for 3 years and increasing the dose pretty much every 2-3 months. Then I thought I should try something, and something better for my health because antibiotics were just killing me, i was going aggressive and yelling at everyone. Depression was too far i can tell you. So i started taking NATURAL MEDECINE. I needed fast results, ehich it would not provide. So I stopped that too. Then doing some research on internet, I found the new "American treatment" for acne, where you have to EAT APPLES and CLEAN MY INTESTINE during 3 days. Mum was so against it I had to find another way. And that's how I came across what "saved" my life. CHINESE MEDECINE! They do a DETOX, to boost your body's immune system, drinking apple juice and taking that disguting but efficient like none herb, then a bit of ACCUPUNCTURE (optional) and finally you take HERBS in little capsules(no taste) and a herbal cream. The CHINESE MEDECINE says that one gets acne because there is too much damp and heat in the upper body, hard to believe for some but believe or not, IT WORKS!
Now I am still taking my antibiotics, on really small doses though, and taking the herbs. I have seen my face going all clear in a month and 3 days. I have a few pimples now and then, but it is nothing like it used to be.
I highly encourage everyone in doing it. It is natural, won't kill your health or your mood.
Good luckOce
