Is acne different in men and women? or is it the same for both of them?? similarly can the medications and dosages prescribed to men be used by women?? -
Yes acne in women may be different from that in men.. Women suffer through many conditions due to which they get triggered to hormonal acne.
Regarding the medication I am not sure if they can use the same treatment or not. -
well causes may be different but I guess the treatment is the same for both men and women. The purpose is to cure acne,probably control it..

I think that acne in women is different from men, because of the many hormonal changes that woman are suffering, specially before and during the period. Remember the PMS syndrome? when girls are very nervous and agitated, well acne or pimples are also symptomes that are showing in that time

I'm not an expert but i think that it doesn't matter if you are a male or a female.
Is the fact that after you find out what caused your acne you might find the cure for it. -
Yes it's different but in many cases the causes are the same:stress factors,hormonal presure and balance.
