Hi,
I have been taking Tetracycline for 5 months and I am now completely acne free and the scars are on there way to healing. However I still suffer from VERY oily skin..which sometimes can cause the lone spot to come up. When I mean oily I mean my face appears very oily maybe 20 minutes (sometimes less) after cleansing, after an hour I am COMPLETELY covered in oil, which as you can imagine doesn't look very nice. It gets worse then throughout the day until it's very bad indeed. It's very embarrasing. I often resort to 'dabbing' my face with toilet paper but I also have 'taught' skin which is easily becomes red and irritated. The taught feeling (I presume this is dehydration) is present EVERY day and is often makes me very aware and anxious about my skin. Maybe my oil glands are trying to compensate for lost moisture? I don't really understand because I use an emollient (moisturising) wash cream and a fairly rich moisturiser. Other than that I only use a topical treatment for lone spots. Help?!

I took the same treatment and it worked for me too. About your oily skin I will give you my advice, but I am not a specialist. Anyway logically it should work.
Use only products for oily skin, you probably already do.
Wash your face for maximum two times a day, but if possible skip the morning wash and use to remove exces oil a good tonic lotion, using a cotton pad.
Instead of your regular lotion try to use a sebum control lotion.
Use, during the day, oil-blotting paper, which removes oil, also.
Apply clay masks twice a week, which should help too.
I hope these triks helped you. Good Luck!
