Definitely related to chocolate. Chocolate once in a while is ok, but not everyday in large amounts, so stop the chocolate completely for a while. And greatly reduce the other junk foods with the sugar and grease.

Here's what to do:

I had acne real bad when I was a teen. It left in two weeks when I joined the military.

I'm wrighting a book on Acne now. Raised two boys and managed to keep their acne under control.

Curing acne is just doing the basics. That's not easy when you are a teen living in America.

If you were growing up in a foreign country where there were no greasy comfort foods and processed foods you wouldn't be able to get Acne.

So learn to eat your vegetables. Eat fruit. Get your sleep. Losing sleep and consuming sugar and caffeine are very bad for your complexion.

In the military I hit the sak at 9:00 every night and was woke up at 5:00 every morning. My skin on my face and chest lost the excess oiliness in a week and a half.

In basic training we weren't allowed to go back for seconds and the desserts were not very big, just small portions, but we ate on time every day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

So, it was the getting to bed early, eating enought good food and very small amounts of desserts, and the low stress. Yes, the military had us for a while. Our life was on hold, so we had no real worries and there wasn't the tension over the opposite sex to exite the skin.

The vegetables in the diet have a great deal to do with relaxing the skin and slowing down oil production because of the calcium. Brocolli is on of the best foods for the skin, and spinach. You get all kinds of vitamins and calcium. Avacados are good too. You get monounsaturated fatty acids. Avacados are better than eating potato chips for you skin. They are high in vitamin A which is good for the skin.

Don't over eat, especially out of stress and worries. Just have fun and be happy. There is no time like the teenage years for being happy and going out on dates with someone you really like. Being happy has so much to do with the hormone balance and your complexion.

Have you ever noticed how teens in love glow. They don't breakout, they glow because they are complete and happy, so get that way. Your teenage years only come around once, so enjoy them. Stan

I guess I've figured out a reason behind acne and coffee or tea. They increase the amount of caffine in the blood The blood is not purified well and we develop acne on our sking as a result.

As far as chocolate is concerned I've seen people develop pimples after consuming chocolates. But I myself am a chocoalte freak and never witnessed such a problem. It possibly depends on how various people digest caffine and sugar.

This chocolate-acne relation is always in top of all acne-cause/myths debates. I can not find a relation with chocolate in my case, but sure I get pimples when I have busy/stress time.

I think it does. I noticed that every time I eat chocolate I get pimples. It happens every time. I don't think it is just a coincidence. Maybe other people react to other foods.

Chocolate or fat aliments like the so called junk food were considered to contribute to acne releases. Specialists claim there is no proof indicating that sugary ingredients may damage epidermal layers.
Yet, if you find it safer to give up or to restrict these elements in your diet, it can only a healthy choice if not for acne treatment, for the entire body.
