Picking at blackheads and pimples causes lesions (tiny scars/damage) to your skin which often times causes your skin to produce tiny amounts of collagen which look like very small white heads under your skin. It will be red and inflammed (swollen) for awhile, put some ice on it and after a few days it will shrink but may never fully go away. The Doctors are right "Don't Pick". Pick one, get two more. The next day, the blackhead was gone, but now it became a lump, it's not painful when touch or pressed, it is red the first few days, but now it is white and is getting flatter and smaller i think.. . Help, does anybody have this problem? if yes, will it vanished? and how long? </p>
