BUT IF YOU have a clean face or neerly cleen face, and start using a little bowl or plastic tub with cold water and some ice poured in it, and just let your face soak in it for around 15 seconds..do it a few times...you know your limits - you dont want your face to be all numb (but that wont hurt them). IT HELPS prevent them more, and it certainly tightens/firms your skin and makes you look younger as said before. And as Aly said, it does nourish the skin. Well application of ice or a splash of cool water definitely nourishes the skin making it look better.<br /> <br /> Your grandma probably said so because application of ice removes dirt surfaces and closes open pores. you may prevent having more pimples but am not sure if it work on reducing them.
