let me see if I understood: your abscess problems are gone and you are aggravating to break the scars problem, but application Retin-A and you are abashed of new pimples application it. Then WHY application Retin-A? Choose something abroad for scars. I don't know, something to alleviate and blister at the aforementioned time.
http://acne-scar-removal-infoall.blogspot.com/

I know that microdermabrasion helps you to get rig of your scars, but what you are going to do when you still have pimples. You can't do that procedure when you still have acne, because you are going to spread it more and make it worse.

Well risks on face can be pretty dangerous :)

If you have only scars left you can go for some natural remedy like applying cucumber and tomato juices regularly once a day. These are natural healers. The process may be a bit slow but you can be tension free about the pimples and dont have any side effects also.

I think that you should try it. If you get read of acne you could get read of the scars to. Nothing happens until you risk something.

Hello,
I would like to know if anybody is using Retin-a to get rid of acne scars.

It seems that from a while I don't get new pimples: One important think is that I'm not pop it anyway. Now I have only the scars to deal with. I remember some time ago I was using Retin-A (and with fantastic results), but then I've stopped and I had to use contraceptive pills (the3se stopped my acne for good ). So, during my Retin-A treatment I've noticed my skin exfoliated, so I think I can use this to exfoliate my skin. The only tricki think is that, Retin-A is working on 3 phases: during the first phase my skin is exfoliated, but then, after 4 weeks, Retin-A brings up the "worst" of my skin, so it pushes up all the zits.
So, If I'll use Retin-A I'm afraid I can turn my acne on again. But I'll like the effect of skin exfoliation.
Anybody, any similar experience?
