When dealing with acne, there is a permanent concern of not leaving marks, or most known as scars. These acne lesions can be formed as papules, large pustules cysts and nodules leave a mark in the skin to limit the pace of their previous residence. Skin damages can be brought in this way due to inflammation and expansion on the surface of the skin while the healing process for the acne condition takes place.

There are nevertheless three ways you can adopt in order to prevent the scarring to go deeper and more extended:

1. Reduce the amount of swelling fluids – in order to shrink the evolution of a pimple you can reduce the swelling fluids that enlarge the acne lesion. This thing can be done with wet heat applied on the pimple. Take a wet cloth and put it in microwave fro 60 seconds, then take it out and put it over the pimple for 2 minutes repeating this procedure three times.

This will help reducing the surface of swelling of the acne lesion. Another method with the same result is applying tea tree oil over the pimple for the time at night. In the morning the pimple will be smaller in its swelling appearance.

2. Use a mask that speeds up the time of healing – if an acne lesion remains for a longer period of time inside the skin it will generate more cosmetic damage. To hurry up the healing time you can increase the blood flow to the region where the acne lesion is located.

This new blood coming includes vitamins, skin cells, enzymes and anti-microbial elements that are carried to the infected spot. The solution is to apply a clay mask that will chase away the oils that aggravate the inflammation from the acne lesion, reducing the size of the existing papules.

3. The last way is given by the icing that applied on the spot can reduce the pain – the large acne lesions can generate a lot of pain and as such the possibilities of getting deep scarring are more obvious. This pain can get rid of using the icing procedure. Take an ice-cube out of the freezer and wrap the five sides with a paper towel for the unwrapped side to rub against the acne lesion for 30 to 60 seconds in circular moves.

Stop letting your self tempted to squeeze a pimple which didn’t have its head out yet. This will lead to a deeper scaring, then if you would wait for head to erupt and after that with a sterilized needle puncture the head allowing the debris to flow out the of acne lesion. Then cleanse the area with a wash of anti-microbial features.

Important to note: Some cases of long-term cysts might need the medical supervision to be removed in order to avoid the painful side-effects and as such the deep scars.

Hi..here are few ways to get rid of scars apart from Aloe Vera:
1. Try vitamin E oil.
2. Most doctors prescribed this clinically tested internal supplement called ""Acne Control Extra Strength Tablets"" for a healthy skin.
3. Apply cucumber and tomato juice mixed together on their scars. You can also apply lemon juice directly on your scars.
4. Apply a paste mixed with sandalwood powder and a little rosewater or make a paste out of oatmeal and apply that to your face.
5.Apply egg white to your acne scars.

Some hard and true facts about scars. Scars occur when the thick layer of our skin (the dermis layer) is damaged. However, scars need not be permanent. Research has confirmed that the MOST EFFECTIVE way to reduce scar is actually applying CONCENTRATED Vitamin E to the skin to increase collagen and nourish the skin.

Using other methods eg. Chemicals, surgery and others do not work. Those may seem faster BUT short term solutions with lots of side effects!!! Try and GET hold of some serum with very very high concentrated Vitamin E. Doesn't matter which brand as long as it contains natural Vitamin E. Most products will not have high Vitamin E because the ingredient is expensive.

If you need a suggestion, one product I tried recently that works is Natur E which you can find atwww.scarremovaltreatment.net. Let me know if it does work for you.

The best way to prevent post-inflammatory changes caused by acne is to prevent acne lesions from occurring.

Picking at scabs should be avoided at all costs. Scabs form to protect the healing process that is going on underneath them.

Acne usually worsen if a person is under stress, loves to eat foods rich in cholesterol.

Among many antioxidants, the most researched and best known for skincare and treating scars is Vitamin E.

This product has been recommended by professional doctors and pharmacists all around the world. Vitamin E is best in its natural state. The reason behind this is because Natural Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) has 36% MORE biological activity than the synthetic version, hence it works better at treating scars.

Go for serum or creams which shows very high concentration of natural Vitamin E as the ingredient. Make sure they are no chemical substitute which may cause unwanted side effects.

One of my suggested product is NATUR E Scar serum. It contains 28000 iu of Vitamin E and it is all natural. The product has worked so well for me! Do give it a try. You can find it atwww.scarremovaltreatment.net.

I have been using the maybelline dream matte line of makeup, mostly the the mousse, to cover up my scars and the really nasty looking pieces of skin. I'm not sure if I should discontinue the use and try another type of make up for the meantime that my skin is healing with the treatment.
Could it be possible that the makeup is counteracting my medications(topical clindamycin and aqueous base benzoyl peroxide) that i use to treat my acne?
I'm not sure if the makeup is harmless or not. It doesn't seem to worsen or help my acne.
If any of you have suggestions on what I should do, I would really appreciate it. :)

Red marks left on the site of old acne lesions are usually temporary. Red marks are simply a normal remnant of the skin's inflammatory process Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). Simply the skin goes through its healing and remodeling process, which takes appproximately 6-12 months.
If the color change or skin defect is still present after 1 year
you have a real scar.
Do not touch or pick acne lesions as this can worsen infection and inflammation. There are a few different ways to exfoliate skin by far the most effective and well researched are alpha hydroxy acids (abbreviated to AHAs) and beta hydroxy acid (abbreviated to BHA). The benefits of using a well-formulated AHA or BHA can be apparent almost immediately, or at the very least, within a few days of use. Best of all, skin will continue to improve over time with ongoing use. I suggest you Glycolic acid.
This amazing product have an excellent capability to penetrate skin and at different concentrations it is used to improve the skin's appearance and texture.href="http://www.acne-removal-scar.net/glycolic-acid-skin-care-products.html">For complete informations read here:http://www.acne-removal-scar.net/glycolic-acid-skin-care-products.html.
