Okay, I don't think there are many good solutions introduced here in this forum.

If you are being literally ruined by acne, you will want to visit this link:http://mhlnk.com/824E8D12

It gives you a FREE sample of Acnezine. It is a great product that heals your acne from its ROOT source, and not just merely soothe the symptoms like other acne products.

There are many positive reviews for this product. Just give it a shot. It's FREE anyway -http://mhlnk.com/824E8D12

Thanks to Professor Chu at Hammersmith hospital, I have come across a wonderful product that keeps my acne in check! It's called Aknicare and if you use the cleanser, lotion and then the cream, it works amazingly well to keep my skin clear! The skin roller is great for breakouts and to carry round with you too :) They have a fab deal on now with the duo packs at £19.95 and get another product for a fiver.

raykingofchina has some interesting thoughts that are part right. The real reason to avoid casein and gluten (milk and wheat proteins) is that you may have a food allergy to these large proteins which would cause skin erruptions such as acne and eczema. Avoiding sugar helps because sugar can feed harmful bacteria in the intestine, which leads to overgrowth and further harms the intestinal lining, worsening food allergies.

The intestinal lining can be sensitive in susceptible people. When the epithilial cells of the intestinal lining loosen, this space can allow larger, harder to digest particles through to the blood stream, these large particles are then attacked by the immune system as they are not recognized as "self" but as foreign invaders, this causes inflammation and allergy. Casein and gluten just happen to be large, hard to digest proteins. Ways to tighten the junctions of the intestinal lining (thereby helping clear skin erruptions) are: increase vitamin D levels by taking D3 which is the bioactive form, increase healthy bacteria levels by taking probiotics, try a detox therapy to reduce heavy metal burden and support immune function.

A moisturizer is a boost to irritated skin and keeps skin from becoming overly dry due to the acne treatments that have been applied. Look for a moisturizer with the following properties:

- oil-free

- won’t clog pores (non-comodogenic)

- containing a sun-screen

Honey is a great remedy for skin blemishes and acne because honey has antibacterial property that kills bacteria. Make a paste by mixing honey and cinnamon powder. Apply the paste while sleeping and wash the face next morning as this is a good natural remedy for acne.

I broke out really bad last month for no apparent reason. In trying to figure it out, I discovered that dairy was a common cause (of which I had consumed an abundance). Anyway, I decided to go off dairy to test for causality. It's been 1.5 weeks and no apparent change has taken place. Am I being impatient or should I look elsewhere for the cause of my breakout?
